Daven became the senior pastor of FBC Pelham in March 2015. Before coming to Pelham, he served for nearly seven years as the senior pastor of the First Baptist Church Pleasant Grove in Pleasant Grove, Alabama and before then he served as senior pastor for eight years at First Baptist Church in Owenton, Kentucky. He received his undergraduate degree in history from Georgetown College in 1996. In December 1999 he received his Master of Divinity degree from Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, Alabama and in May 2008 he received a Doctor of Ministry degree in Preaching from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary outside Boston, Massachusetts. Daven and his beautiful wife Jane Ellen were married on July 6, 1996, and they are the proud parents of two children – Molly Grace and Nathan. Daven enjoys spending time with his family exercising and watching Kentucky Basketball!

Todd started in his role as Executive Pastor in February of 2024. Prior to serving here at Pelham, Todd served for almost 10 years at Summer Grove Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA, 16 years at Forest Hills Baptist Church in Nashville, TN, and 3 years at First Baptist Church of Natchez, MS. He received his Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1994, and graduated from Samford University in 1992 with a B.S. in Education. Todd and his wife Amy married in 1997, and met in 1994 working at Ridgecrest Summer Camps in North Carolina. Amy teaches Special Education at Vestavia Hills High School. Todd and Amy’s children are Sadie and Macy, both graduates of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La.

Brett Fuller has served as Worship Pastor at First Baptist Pelham since 2017, bringing experience from his time serving at Prestonwood Baptist Church (Plano, TX), First Baptist Opelika (AL), and Summer Grove Baptist (Shreveport, LA.) Originally from Marietta, Georgia, Brett brings a passion for Christ-centered, multi-generational worship and over two decades of experience in leading others in praise.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music/Church Music from Samford University and a Master’s in Music with a concentration in Worship Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Brett is married to Cathy Cockerell Fuller, a dedicated nurse manager and administrator at the UAB Clinic in Hoover, AL. Together, they are raising three incredible kids - Kenadie, Zachary, and Hunter - and love investing in the life and worship of the local church.

Bob joined the FBC Ministry Team as Senior Adult Pastor in September 2025. Before coming to Pelham, he served as the Transitional Pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Pell City, Alabama. Bob has served as Senior Pastor in churches in Alabama and Missouri throughout his ministry career. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mobile in 1979, majoring in History and Religion. He received his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Seminary in 1982, and during a later season of life, earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from New Orleans Seminary in 2018, with a specialization in Spiritual Formations.

Bob and Charlette have been married since 1978. They are the proud parents of five adult children: Seth, Sam, JR, Sarah, and David. They adore their eight grandchildren, three in Birmingham and five in THE Kansas City metro area. Their favorite pastime is enjoying their children and grandchildren.

Bob enjoys reading, good humor, competing against the wifey at Top Golf, traveling to see family, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs with Charlette.

Donnie is married to Patti and has two girls, Maegan and Mallory. He is an outdoor sports enthusiast and loves wilderness, backpacking, and climbing. Donnie served as a student pastor since 1981 and served four other churches before arriving at Pelham. Donnie has a Master’s degree in Ministry from Andersonville University.
Favorite Bible Verse: John 16:33 – “Jesus said, “These things I have spoken unto you that in me you might have peace, in the world, you will have tribulation, but have courage, I have overcome the world.”

Matt is married to Jessica and has three children, Connor, Mason, and Emily. Matt loves to have fun, laugh, and hang out at the lake. He was the Student Pastor here at FBC Pelham since 2014 and changed to be the Family and Missions Pastor in 2025. Matt holds a Master’s degree in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing his DMin in Ministry Leadership from Liberty University. He has a heart for teaching and discipling families to be Christ-centered in their marriage, parenting, and entire family life.

Josh joined the staff of FBC Pelham in August 2025. He is married to his wonderful wife Kori. Prior to serving at Pelham, Josh was a Student Pastor in Georgia for 2 1/2 years. He also spent a year overseas in East Asia before going to seminary. He is a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with an MDiv in Great Commission Studies and Auburn University with a degree in Communication. In his free time, you’ll find Josh reading, watching sports, hiking, eating international snacks, learning about WWII, listening to CHH and playing disc golf.
