Mission Trip
Each year we take a Mission Trip involving Seniors and others. This trip always needs and is open to all ages! For the past 20 plus years the trip has been to New Orleans working with Mission Lab at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. This partnership allows Seniors to have comfortable housing, meals in the seminary cafeteria among other mission groups and seminary students. New Orleans has multiple ongoing and urgent ministry needs. Each year is different but there is always plenty of essential work to do. Ministry on this trip includes working with local recovery/rehab ministries, a thrift store, nursing homes, senior adult living and care facilities, seminary facilities, and normally one or two physical construction type projects for individuals, families or ministries in the New Orleans vicinity. This trip has become an accepted staple among our activities and always provides real ministry and witnessing opportunities plus, sightseeing, rich fellowship, time to make lasting friendships plus exposure to and enjoyment of the New Orleans atmosphere, foods, and culture (global in scope).

Special Events
Our Senior Adults travel to interesting places for day trips, and also take two or three trips that are 2-4 day trips to attend conferences and special events.
